A little black pug dressed in a Baby Yoda costume, complete with large green ears and beige robes, sits against a soft pink background. The dog holds a small turquoise plush toy that's a part of the costume, and gazes upward with wide eyes, in an endearing way.

Hi, I’m Lauren.

I’m a NY-based UX designer with 9 years of experience. I have a strong UI and front-end development background and specialize in e-commerce. I balance big-picture vision with attention to detail and consistently deliver high-quality work, even under pressure.

I began freelancing in 2016 as a UX/UI designer and developer as Auberg Design. Since 2021, I’ve worked in-house at Dame and agencies like Elva and Terakeet. My Figma workshops have converted even the most Figma-resistant colleagues into advocates.

I love challenges, spreadsheets, my dog Ziggy Starpug, and geeking out over Star Trek. 🖖

Lauren’s innovative ideas and exceptional design abilities significantly benefited our team. She was the mastermind behind what our team affectionately called “Goldmines” — documentation in the form of trackers, deliverables, and libraries that streamlined our UX workflow. Her energy and enthusiasm made every collaboration a joy.

Lauren is a quick and creative problem solver whose combination of design, analytical, and technical skills are extremely rare and valuable. I have twice hired Lauren for fast-paced, high-stakes work and could not have been happier with the results. Lauren is incredibly reliable, communicative, friendly, and an exceptional team member.

It wouldn’t be out of place to describe Lauren as a “unicorn”. Not only does she have the technical and design skills to implement, she has the analytical ability to improve conversion and process. Lauren also works cross-functionally with ease by being a fast, reliable and communicative team player. This combination of soft and hard skills made Lauren an incredibly valuable addition to the Dame team.
